Job Summary

The Workplace Ambassador (WPA) is responsible for employee floor management including assigning lockers, floor sweeps to ensure facilities are maintained to the highest standard and assisting with pantry management.

KEY JOB DUTIES:
The Workplace Ambassador is the first point of contact for unassigned seating floor(s) and must be adept at taking ownership of all aspects, including, but not limited to; facilities & services located within a predetermined area; assuring users feel comfortable and have all the tools necessary to be as productive as possible.

Through professionalism and effectiveness, the WPA will actively manage and coordinate the delivery of the "World's Best Workplace" for members of the firm.

Acting as an overall Hospitality Services resource and liaison on the employee floors.
Conducts daily walkthroughs of each designated floor to assure everything is prepared in accordance with the established standards.
Communicating requests to the appropriate internal support departments such as, building maintenance, information technology (computer /phone issues), and mail room (package pickups and deliveries).
Anticipates the need of visiting MDs/PMDs by presetting offices with the necessary supplies.
Pro-actively manages the general cleanliness of on-floor meeting and conference rooms.
Manages the transitions of new joiners, assigns lockers, and answers any questions related to the building or local city knowledge.
Assisting in other areas of the conference center on an as needed basis.
Communicating any maintenance changes to reception to ensure reports are as up to date as possible.
Sending out accurate daily Action Logs to appropriate channels.
Pantry management includes, but not limited to:
Flyer posting
Responsible for posting flyers in pantries and copy rooms upon specified posting timeline and proactively viewing and removing flyers immediately following end of posting and placing counter-top sign holders back in cabinet when not in use.

Supplies
Effective ordering of supplies with a goal to minimize inventory and limit week-to-week carryover of goods.
Ensure stocking of pantry items available to GS employees at regular intervals from 7am-4pm, Monday through Friday per SOP on "look" and need.
Ensure order forms are updated on regular basis in line with Aramark's inventory.
Brewed Coffee
First brew of regular and decaf coffee by 7am on every floor with attention to rebrewing as necessary up until 10am daily.
Ensure brewed coffee is highest standard (no grounds in coffee, filters, flavor).
Espresso/Coffee machine management:
Replacing beans, emptying grounds bin and rinse cycles as necessary.
Minimum of two cleaning per machine standards per week and SOP including thorough regular cleaning of all "wipe able" surfaces.
Follow SOP for reporting maintenance.

Vending

Responsible to visibly review any vending issues each visit to pantry and report as necessary with posting.
This includes looking for visible expiration dates and escalating to Lead WPA/CA, Conference Center Manager, GM, and Aramark.
Maintenance and reporting
Reporting of all maintenance related issues in pantry including immediate posting of GS template: "Out of Order sign" and immediate removal upon fix or repair

**Maintenance needs for the bottle filler, ice machine, microwave, refrigerators, and other areas of the pantry should be reported and "OOO" sign placed, but not included on internal tracking of equipment maintenance. Any requests by building management for these pieces of equipment should be escalated to Lead WPA/CA and Conference Center Manager for review.
Basic wipe down of counter surfaces and splashes when possible.
Ensuring signage is laminated and in pristine condition in all pantry areas.

Excellent Computer skills, hotel property software preferred.
Discreet, ethical, and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Previous hospitality experience strongly preferred.
Must possess a professional presentation.
Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
Highly responsible & reliable.
Ability to work well independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, always remaining calm and courteous.
