Responsibilities: The ideal hourly pay rate is $19.63 - $24.75 and is dependent upon experience. This position will provide day-to-day HR administrative support and serve as a frontline resource for hourly employees and supervisors. It ensures continuity in HR operations and helps meet compliance and workforce management standards critical to production, retention, and organizational performance.
- Provide support for employee questions, issues, and problem resolution on services such as leaves and attendance tracking, i.e., sick, vacation, PTO, FMLA, personal leave, etc.
- Accurately tracks attendance and leave of absences to ensure timely enforcement of attendance policies. Generate Disciplinary Actions in accordance with Attendance Control Program. Notifies supervisors in a timely manner of disciplinary actions that need to be reviewed and issued for attendance related concerns. Responds to all employee inquiries related to Attendance Point balances.
- Maintain employee records, personnel files, audit timekeeping system, and HRIS data with confidentiality and accuracy.
- Provide support for timekeeping and attendance tracking, ensuring compliance with company policies.
- Conduct new hire orientation and onboarding processes.
- Assist with employee relations matters and escalate issues as needed to the HR Manager.
- Support HR compliance activities including I-9 documentation/audits, safety related inquiries and documentation, training records, and required postings.
- Help organize employee recognition programs and internal communication efforts.
- Generate reports related to headcount, turnover, and other HR metrics.
- Partner with CoE support teams to resolve employee inquiries.
- Provide general administrative support to the HR function at Del Monte Foods.
- Coordinate and assist in recruitment efforts for both seasonal and full-time positions, including job postings, screening, and interviews.

Qualifications:
- Minimum AA degree in business or human resources management.
- HR Certification is highly preferred.
- Minimum 2 years HR or administrative experience.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and discretion
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to resolve issues independently or escalate appropriately
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, UKG) is a plus
- Solid understanding of HR practices, labor laws, and compliance standards
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust and relationships across all levels of the organization
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines consistently
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and process improvement
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred but not required
