Position: Hardware Failure Analysis Co-op Number of Positions: 1 Duration: 4 months Date: September - December 2025 Location: Onsite - Murray Hill, NJ Educational Recommendations Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering at an accredited university in the U.S. with participation in a recognized co-op program.
- Work under the guidance of senior engineers to identify defects and their root causes
- Support the implementation of corrective actions for product issues
- Participate in circuit design, simulation, analysis, and hands-on troubleshooting
- Operate lab test equipment such as oscilloscopes, bit error rate testers, and variable power supplies
- Use Microsoft Excel to document and tabulate test data and results
- Contribute to environmental hardware testing by creating scripts to control climatic chambers and collect performance data
- A solid foundation in circuit design, analysis, simulation, and troubleshooting
- Familiarity with standard electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, BERTs)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for organizing and reporting data
- A detail-oriented mindset and willingness to learn hands-on in a lab environment
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
It Would Be Nice If You Also Had:
- Experience with printed circuit board soldering
- Familiarity with circuit prototyping and working with higher-order assemblies
- Exposure to Keysight VEE or similar scripting environments for test automation
- Experience writing data collection scripts for lab testing setups
