Job Title: Cable Infrastructure Technician
Description: We are seeking a reliable and collaborative Cable Infrastructure Technician to join our team. This role offers a challenging yet rewarding opportunity to grow within the data center industry. Responsibilities: * Install, maintain, and repair cable infrastructure. * Perform maintenance on existing cabling systems. * Test newly installed or relocated cables according to company specifications. * Identify and remove redundant cabling. * Install televisions, routers, and internet technology devices. * Troubleshoot issues with the cable network. * Install cable support structures such as j-hooks, cable racks, and innerduct. Skills Required: * Cable installation * Cat5 cabling * Punchdown techniques * Structured cabling * Low voltage systems Top Skills: * Cable installation * Cat5 cabling * Punchdown techniques * Structured cabling * Low voltage systems Additional Skills & Qualifications: * Analyze and troubleshoot basic technical problems or issues. * Review, interpret, and work with various maps, drawings, blueprints, and testing documents. * Perform daily tests, checks, and maintenance of splicing and testing equipment. * Conduct optical continuity and conformance testing. * Make splicing rearrangements on existing facilities in buried, underground, aerial, and building work locations.
