ITC Federal is seeking a Senior Computer Systems Engineer/Architect to design, develop, and maintain enterprise IT systems and network architectures that support complex, mission-critical environments. This role requires deep technical expertise across systems engineering, network infrastructure, and security, with a strong focus on integrating scalable and secure solutions to meet evolving customer needs.

The Senior Engineer/Architect will serve as a technical leader, collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, design enterprise architectures, and guide the implementation of systems that optimize performance, security, and reliability.

Lead the design and architecture of enterprise IT systems, network infrastructure, and cloud/hybrid solutions.

• Analyze complex system requirements and develop detailed architecture and engineering solutions.

• Design and integrate secure network solutions including routers, switches, firewalls, SD-WAN, VPNs, and wireless networks.

• Support the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of enterprise-level servers, storage systems, and virtualization platforms.

• Develop and maintain technical documentation, including system diagrams, architecture plans, and standard operating procedures.

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex network and system issues, providing Tier III/IV support as needed.

• Ensure all solutions comply with federal security standards and agency-specific requirements.

• Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to enhance system performance and security.

• Collaborate with program leadership, security teams, and other stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with mission goals.

• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on infrastructure projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience).

• 8+ years of progressive experience in IT systems engineering, network architecture, or enterprise IT infrastructure design.

• Proven expertise in designing and deploying large-scale enterprise networks and IT systems in federal or highly regulated environments.
