Summary
Responsible for supervising aspects of the laboratory's operations and ensuring that the department is meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements. Specializes in the diagnosis and study of diseases by examining tissues, cells, and bodily fluids. Does this position require Patient Care? No Essential Functions -Ensures that programs, policies, and procedures are established and implemented to meet customer needs, department standards, and regulatory agency requirements. -Provides leadership and technical direction to staff in acheivement of laboratory objectives. -Manages the operations and services delivery of assigned areas of responsibility for the laboratory. -Ensures that the laboratory is adhering to all quality standards and regulatory requirements. -Ensures patient safety and maintaining a safe environment in the laboratory Education Physical Requirements
