The Engineering Research Accelerator reinforces the College's efforts to expand our participation and influence in national and international research forums, which allows us to develop a stronger platform to share our insights and discoveries on emerging issues. The Engineering Research Accelerator within the College of Engineering is in search of a highly motivated professional who enjoys taking initiative, excels at multi-tasking and is eager to join our team. This is a dynamic opportunity for someone who thrives in an interesting and challenging work environment. You will contribute to the department by direct administrative support to the Accelerator Leadership team. This person will be responsible for the direct support of the Associate Dean of Research (ADR) (75%) and the Chief Partnership Officer (CPO) (25%). They will frequently be the initial point of contact and the liaison for the ADR, CPO, and the Engineering Research Accelerator. Preferred applicants have knowledge of the Carnegie Mellon campus and its policies and procedures. Should be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and the Google Suite of products, especially Google Calendar. This nonexempt position will report directly to the Director of Research Initiatives at the Engineering Research Accelerator. A professional demeanor is a must. Responsibilities:
