The Horsham Clinic is seeking an energetic, creative and mission-focused Director of Therapy and Counseling. For more than 60 years, The Horsham Clinic has helped children, teens, adults and older adults manage and overcome a number of mental health issues at its 55-acre campus nestled in Ambler, Pennsylvania. We have a total of 206 licensed acute beds and are one of the largest providers of acute inpatient services in Southeastern Pennsylvania. The Horsham Clinic also offers partial hospitalization services for children, teens and adults at our main campus in Ambler, and at our Chester County and Delaware County partial programs. What You'll Do (Position Description) The Director of Therapy and Counseling offers both administrative and clinical leadership to our Therapy and Counseling departments. This role involves interviewing and recommending new hires, overseeing training and development of the departments, and supervising department staff in alignment with the facility's philosophy, goals, and standards, as well as level of care requirements. The Director ensures the department consistently maintains a safe and therapeutic environment, exemplifying service excellence and fostering successful departmental growth. Additionally, the Director is tasked with implementing new programs, revamping existing programs, and developing curriculum that addresses the needs of the facility and each of our patient populations. This position will be supervised by our Director of Clinical Services. The Director of Therapy and Counseling must be adaptable and a collaborative team player to meet the evolving needs of the facility and our diverse populations. Candidates should be able to effectively engage with all levels of stakeholders, including our CEO and CNO, various departments, as well as patients and their families.
