The primary purpose of this position is to complete painting, patching, and wall covering task assignments for St. Ann's Community and its associated campus under the direction of the Facility Manager to ensure that the objectives and goals of the department are accomplished. . JOB PURPOSE: Works under the direction of the Building Maintenance Forman and/or the Power Plant & Maintenance Manager in a capacity to ensure that the objectives and goals of the department are accomplished. Assists the Building Maintenance Forman in daily department task assignments inspecting and repairing all doors according to the NFPA 80 codes and requirements,Completes painting, patching, and wall covering task assignments for St. Ann's Community and its associated campuses, reporting directly to the Power Plant & Maintenance Manager in the absence of the Building Maintenance Forman. Maybe called upon to coordinate upgrades, maintenance, and repairs of all building structures and components for St. Ann's Community and its associated campus'. Oversee and coordinate the functions of the painting and repairs as well as providing technical support to other Power Plant & Maintenance staff and other facilities such as Chapel Oaks and Cherry Ridge as required.

SUPERVISORY RELATIONSHIP: The employee is required to log / report all daily work directly to Building Maintenance Forman, and or Power Plant Maintenance Manager. SAFETY RESPONSIBILITIES: The employee is required to ensure personal safety, monitor work environment and make necessary improvements while ensuring the safety of others to include, adhering to regulations set by OSHA, DOH, and facility regulations, to include fire protection/prevention, smoking regulations, infection control, etc. Tasks involved in this position may involve potential and/or direct exposure to blood, body fluids, infectious diseases, air contaminants, and hazardous chemicals. Maintain confidentiality of all information related to the organization, residents, participants, family and staff, that may be encountered, either formally or informally, during the normal course of business.
