Planned Parenthood North Central States Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota Grants Accountant - Remote within IA, MN, ND, NE or SD Pay: The anticipated salary range for this position is $62,000 - $87,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. Compensation is determined based on a variety of factors, including relevant work experience, the skills required for the role, internal equity, market competitiveness, and budget considerations. Questions? Contact Jobs@ppncs.org. Job Summary: Under immediate supervision of the Finance Manager, the Grant Accountant performs a wide variety of functions. The Grant Accountant is responsible for developing and implementing accounting systems for use in the recording and reporting of grants obtained. This position is responsible for performing various accounting tasks, such as balancing ledgers, analyzing expenditures and documenting, verifying and correcting entries in the general ledger system. This position will assist in maintaining strong financial controls to guarantee compliance with federal/state rules and regulations and to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting. The Grant Accountant will work closely with the Advancement and Development areas and work under the direction of the Finance Manager. The Grant Accountant is an advocate in implementing our mission "Advancing and protecting sexual and reproductive healthcare for all." They may perform other related duties as assigned.
