Job Title: Operational Excellence Associate Vice President

Reports To: Chief Operations Officer, CSCO

Location: Ewing, NJ

Job Summary: The Global Operational Excellence Associate Vice President is responsible for driving operational excellence across the company's global value stream, including internal manufacturing, contract manufacturing, planning, distribution and the entire value stream. This role encompasses Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), Lean, Six Sigma, and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at developing people, training teams, and troubleshooting issues across the value stream map.

Reporting relationships:

  • The Global Operational Excellence Associate Vice President will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer / CSCO
  • Member of the Global Operations Leadership team
  • The Global Director of Reliability and the corporate TPM and Lean teams will report solid line to the Operational Excellence Associate Vice President
  • The CI, Lean, and TPM plant teams will report to the Operational Excellence Vice President.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and implement TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and safety initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Leadership Team to align operational strategies with business objectives.
  • Supports manufacturing operations, including internal and contract manufacturing, ensuring optimal performance and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and mentor a high-performing team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops to build capabilities in operational excellence methodologies.
  • Identify and resolve operational issues, utilizing data-driven approaches to troubleshoot and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in operational excellence, including TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, and safety.
  • Strong leadership and team development skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience in global manufacturing operations is a plus.
  • 20+ years of experience in FMCG industry, personal care, and food.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Lean Six Sigma (Black Belt or Master Black Belt).
  • Experience with Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) implementation.
  • Knowledge of global supply chain management and logistics.
  • Familiarity with advanced data analytics and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale operational excellence projects.
  • Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and safety standards in manufacturing.
  • Ability to drive cultural change and foster a continuous improvement mindset.
