Finance Student Intern

Eppstein Uhen Architects, Inc. (EUA) is seeking to fill an important role as a Finance Student Intern. This person will assist with various accounts payable activities, including account reconciliations, and a variety of daily, weekly and monthly tasks, with opportunities to assist with special projects for the Eppstein Uhen Tennessen Foundation and CFO.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other tasks, as necessary, from time to time.

* Assist with a variety of Accounts Payable communications

* Code and enter invoices to Accounts Payable ledger

* Post cash receipts against Accounts Receivable ledger and assist with bank deposits

* Assist with vendor maintenance, including certificates of insurance

* Maintain accounting files

* Assist with Corporate credit card coding and activities

* Assist with monthly general ledger reconciliation/research

* Ability to maintain a positive attitude and exhibit integrity

* Exceptional organization and communication skills

* Ability to solve problems proactively and prioritize tasks and assignments

Qualifications:

* Pursuit of Associate's Degree or beyond in accounting

* Experience in a professional office setting

* Experience working with Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Word required

* Experience with Deltek Vision and QuickBooks software a plus

* Experience with Accounts Payable a plus

* Demonstrated aptitude with numbers
