The Role:

The Warehouse Manager Will Lead the transformation of CTI & Polycold logistics and inventory management systems. This role manages warehouse, transport, and freight operations-including Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods-for the Product Company in Haverhill, MA. Responsibilities include maintaining accurate inventory systems, ensuring timely receipt and storage of materials, conducting cycle counts, and completing all inventory transactions. The Warehouse Manager leads the logistics team, oversees inbound and outbound shipments, ensures service excellence for internal and external customers, and drives safe practices, especially in the handling and disposal of hazardous materials.

Main Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following key areas:




  • Champion a safety-first culture across all warehouse operations, including handling of hazardous materials (flammable refrigerants, cryogenics, pressurized systems).
  • Ensure full compliance with OSHA, DOT, IATA, IMDG, and other relevant regulations.
  • Optimize inventory accuracy and turnover through efficient storage strategies and accurate transaction execution.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Procurement, and Finance to reduce obsolete stock and improve working capital.
  • Maintain clear inventory and logistics standards to ensure proper product storage, handling, and delivery.
  • Monitor critical inventory levels and coordinate timely replenishment to avoid operational disruptions.
  • Hire, train, and cross-train team members to ensure coverage and continuity; oversee goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
  • Lead regular audits and inspections to uphold safety, quality, and compliance.
  • Maintain shipment documentation (e.g., SDS, declarations) and coordinate with carriers for compliant packaging and transport.
  • Track operational KPIs using visual management tools (SIM boards) to drive performance and accountability.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving and process improvement initiatives, including automation and new technologies.
  • Partner with HR and Finance to manage training programs and departmental budgets, including overtime planning.



It goes without saying that you'll:




  • Have relevant Qualifications and/or Experience

    • We welcome candidates with a variety of backgrounds. An associate's degree is preferred (bachelor's degree ideal), along with several years of professional experience in Warehouse and Logistics, inventory management, raw materials or finished goods transport, or warehouse operations. However, we also value equivalent experience gained through military service, industry certifications, or at least 10 years of directly relevant hands-on professional experience in lieu of formal education. Basic knowledge or experience with import/export operations is expected.


  • Have strong knowledge of SAP.
  • Have strong knowledge of compliance and regulations related to Hazardous Materials and Dangerous Goods.
  • Have a solid understanding of supply chain, inventory, distribution, and management concepts.
  • Have strong compliance mindset, with a focus on inventory accuracy.
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally in team settings.
  • Be a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills, able to build effective relationships.
  • Be Skilled in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio) and basic knowledge of logistics/inventory management systems.
  • Have the ability to manage, coach, and facilitate training for team members.
  • Have a flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to a constantly changing environment and priorities.
  • Have the ability work under pressure and manage varying workloads.
