Job Description: Position Summary: This position is responsible for various program suppliers and is accountable for ensuring on time and on quality delivery of cabin equipment (Monuments, Floor to Floor, IFE, seats, etc.) for Airbus Aircrafts. The Supply Chain Quality Manager -A220 Cabin is in daily contact with suppliers and internal customers (located in the US and Europe) to problem-solve and proactively mitigate Supply Chain issues. The nature of the job requires a high level of autonomy and a good level of soft skills including communication. Primary Responsibilities: Supply Chain and Quality Management: 70%
Work on-site at either the allocated supplier site or in an Airbus office minimum 3 days per week. Ensure maturity and robustness of Cabin Supplier's manufacturing and supply chain processes to avoid supply failures Utilize best practices and quality management techniques to continuously improve Supply Chain related performances for deliveries of supplied products Assess supplier capacity and capability to secure ramp-up period as well as Airbus industrial objectives (major planning changes, ramp down, etc.) Monitor and analyze performance through Key Performance Indicators and organize the surveillance of the suppliers through audits, assessments, recovery plan and mission, CID (Corrective, Improvement, Development) and industrial risks management with internal and external concerned parties Appropriately monitor major industrial risks, major changes (industrial transfers, major planning changes) and supporting design changes on an industrial point of view in order to protect Airbus operations Initiate and follow recovery plans with Suppliers in case of delivery performances degradation to ensure deliveries are back to Airbus requirements Ensure Suppliers' preventive/corrective action plans are managed and achievements are at the expected level in terms of end results. Prepare and support regular management reviews (PRM, Industrial Senior Management Meeting, Quality Supply Chain Meetings) with suppliers to review regularly delivery and supply chain performances and ensuring that preventive/corrective & improvement actions are continuously undertaken.
Internal Stakeholder Management: 20%
Manage relationships with internal stakeholders, such as MFT leaders, Programs and Final Assembly Lines (FALs). This includes communication, customer / supplier relation & meetings, and improvement actions.
Other Responsibilities: 10%
Complete required trainings Special projects and stretch assignments Mentor new hires and support colleagues as needed
Qualified Experience / Skills / Training: Education:
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering/Industrial Engineering or similar field. Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of education. Preferred: Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or similar field
Experience:
Required: Minimum of 6+ years professional experience in a procurement operationsenvironment (monitoring, auditing, developing suppliers/operations) or equivalent. Preferred: 10+ years of relevant professional experience. Aerospace industry and/or manufacturing experience
Licensure/Certifications:

Physical Requirements:
Onsite or remote: 80% Onsite Vision: able to see and read computer screens and other electronic equipment with screens, able to read documents, reports and engineering drawings. Daily Hearing: able to participate in conversations in person and via teleconference or phone and to hear sounds on the production floor including safety warnings or alarms. Daily Speaking: able to speak in conversations and meetings, deliver information and participate in communications. Daily Equipment Operation (personal computer, telephone, copies, fax machine, and related office equipment and using electronic identification card to enter building floors and internal doors): able to operate most office and personal electronic equipment and some tools including production tools such as hydraulic lifts. Daily Carrying: able to carry documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Lifting: able to lift documents, tools, drawings, electronic equipment up to 30lbs/14kgs. Pushing / Pulling: able to push and pull small office furniture and some equipment and tools. Sitting: able to sit for long periods of time in meetings, working on the computer. Squatting / Kneeling: able to squat or kneel to retrieve or replace items stored on low shelving. Standing: able to stand for discussions in offices or on the production floor. Travel: able to travel independently and at short notice. 10% Walking (include routine walking such as to a shared printer to retrieve documents): able to walk through office and production areas including uneven surfaces. Daily Personal Protective Equipment required: Required PPE includes, but is not limited to, Safety Shoes, Safety Glasses, Hearing Protection, Respirators/Masks, and/or Protective Gloves as required by site and/or customer site Administrative position only PPE required: Steel-toed shoes are required for all shop floor visits, appropriate hearing/eye protection may also be required when visiting the shop floor.

Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on geographic differential. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
