Your Job

Molex is looking for an Associate to join the Corporate Strategy team. Molex's Corporate Strategy group provides strategy development, guidance on new market entry, and business diagnostics. As an Associate, you will have the opportunity to contribute to high-value, high-impact initiatives across several Molex divisions. This role will primarily focus on Operations and Supply Chain strategy.

What You Will Do

  • Partnering with business, operations, and supply chain leaders to measure and refine strategic choices
  • Identifying and assessing business profit drivers and return on investment
  • Assessing existing business performance and identifying new growth opportunities and profit improvements
  • Developing point-of-view and strategies to address new markets, product segments, and business models
  • Leading industry research to inform market opportunities, customer needs, and competitive analysis
  • Building acquisition strategies & landscapes, including exposure to origination, analysis, diligence, and close
  • Preparing and presenting management and board-level materials

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • 1+ years in Consulting, Corporate Strategy, Corporate Development, Private Equity, or Investment Banking
  • Strong business acumen and economic thinking and particular interest and / or prior experience in operations and supply chain capabilities
  • Strategic mindset with proven ability to frame complex decisions and alternatives
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with structured data, including capabilities in Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and other analytical software
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Innate intellectual curiosity with demonstrated track record of learning
  • Exhibit potential for growth and ability to take on increased responsibility over time
  • Project management experience and the ability to drive projects with limited guidance
  • Ability to build relationships with team members, internal customers, and external parties
  • Capable of participating in and leading discussions with senior-level management

For this role, we anticipate paying $100,000- $120,000 per year. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form.
