About The Position

The Clean Energy Transition (CET) Advisor will work as part of a team and in close partnership with CET leadership to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of CET strategies and services to the organization through rigorous planning and prioritization, coordinated communications and collaboration, and overall risk identification and mitigation. This role creates visibility into the importance of CET issues facing the organization and is a great opportunity to help the Company provide affordable, reliable and decarbonized energy to all customers.

This is a hybrid role that will report to the Collinsville, IL corporate office.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Support the CET Vice President and Leadership Team to update, align and cascade the CET strategy to advance business objectives.
  • Design and lead a centralized process to ensure appropriate visibility, oversight and support to priority CET projects and initiatives.
  • Manage and maintain dashboards and reporting that monitor performance, including annual revenue model. Identify insights and provide actionable recommendations to improve effectiveness
  • Support the internal and external CET communication strategies to ensure alignment on CET activities across the Company and promote effective relationships with key external stakeholders.
  • Plan and help execute key strategic alignment sessions to communicate the strategy, execution & progress. Communicate progress to executive leadership across the Company on a routine basis and partner with OCM Lead as necessary to determine organizational change impact.
  • Lead project teams and strategic initiatives, as assigned, to support the execution of the CET business plan.
  • Facilitate the management of time allocation to ensure effective oversight of CET operations, delivery of CET services, and effectiveness of CET team members.
  • Maintain current knowledge of CET trends/developments, assess the impact, and ensures that new trends/developments are appropriately incorporated in current and future strategies.
Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited University is required, preferably in engineering, business, organizational development, management or related field. Seven or more years of professional-level experience, with at least two years in strategy, design, business plans, high impact executive communications and/or scorecards required. Utility industry experience preferred.

Advanced interpersonal skills (verbal and written) and a comfort with working with all levels in the organization. Proven ability to work in a highly ambiguous, rapidly changing organization. Demonstrated ability to analyze, identify and solve problems while using sound judgment. Ability to effectively organize, plan, control and prioritize work/projects, while regularly communicating progress to appropriate stake holders. Model and promote high standards of ethical conduct and behaviors consistent with organizational and standards. Anticipate, understand and manage customer expectations. Demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.

Additional Information

Ameren's selection process includes a series of interviews and may include a leadership assessment process. Specific details will be provided to qualified candidates.

Compensation Range:

$128,700.00 - $199,500.00

At Ameren, base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Our pay ranges are broad to allow for movement within our organization and to accommodate different skill sets and levels of expertise. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered. Roles are eligible for additional rewards including annual incentive payments based on individual and company performance.
