The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other team members to characterize the CYP Induction properties of candidate drug molecules and may work on other in vitro ADME assays. QTAS works very closely with other disciplines (medicinal chemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacology, toxicology etc.) to conduct preclinical studies, support clinical evaluation and contribute to IND and NDA filings.

In this role, you will be a scientist with hands-on experience in conducting in-vitro ADME assays including CYP450 induction assays to characterize candidate drug molecules for potential to induce CYP450 enzymes. Furthermore, you will provide support to project teams to enhance mechanistic understanding of complex drug-drug interactions.

* Routinely conduct (hands-on) evaluation of CYP450 induction

* Conduct qPCR assay

* Interpretation of in vitro CYP induction data derived from assays in human hepatocytes or reporter gene systems

* Perform human and rodent hepatocytes cell culture, seeding and maintenance

* Perform cell viability assessments and use microplate reader to measure endpoints
