About the Role:

This role represents the lifeblood for growth for SVB and differentiating our digital capabilities from our competition. This role is responsible for driving a significant aspect of our digital transformation strategy. The ideal candidate will:

Demonstrate prior experience in developing seamless end-to-end digital lending experiences: Consumer like digital application with rules & decision engines for underwriting, identity/fraud checks, integrations, and operational workflow from application to booking

Possess a strong product management background, be steeped in Design Thinking, Lean UX, agile delivery methodologies, and have a data-driven approach to decision making.

Strong working experience with design-thinking best practices to deliver industry-defining digital products and experiences

Demonstrate an ability to collaborate with developers and data engineers to define the technology infrastructure and data architecture necessary to optimize straight through processing while managing credit risk.


Responsibilities

  • Be passionate. Evangelize your products to internal stakeholders and clients.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in engineering, or quantitative major that requires structured problem solving OR High School Diploma or GED and 8 years of experience in engineering, or quantitative major that requires structured problem solving

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in Banking/Financial Services with a focus on lending
  • 3+ years direct knowledge and experience with digital lending
  • Proven ability to lead, build relationships, and work effectively in cross-functional teams
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking with ability to effectively communicate complex concepts
  • Strong understanding and working experience with design-thinking best practices to deliver industry-defining digital products and experiences
  • Strong knowledge of Agile routines and proven ability to lead in an Agile working environment
