General Purpose The HR Director is responsible for developing and executing human resource strategy in support of the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization. This includes areas such as talent management, change management, organizational and performance management, training and development, and compensation. The HR Director provides strategic leadership by articulating HR needs and plans to the executive team, shareholders, and the board of directors. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Essential Duties/Responsibilities * Provides leadership and oversight to the Human Resource and Payroll function of Solvista. * Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership on key organizational and management issues. * Provides guidance and leadership in administering HR policies, programs and procedures. * Provides guidance to leadership that helps mitigates employee and employer risk. * Oversees overall maintenance and function of the HRIS. * Oversight of prepared reports and statistical summaries on employee and payroll information. * Guides collaborative decision-making regarding policies, processes and employee performance. * Exercises independent judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. * Provides performance management guidance to Leadership. * Oversees all benefits administration and communication. * Negotiates with third party benefit providers to update, test and rollout approved changes. * Promotes a robust and best practices talent recruitment and retention strategy. * Ensures accurate and timely payroll. * Oversees the administration of retirement accounts and agreements. * Oversees all workers' compensation claims. * Works with management to ensure Solvista Health provides a safe workplace. * Oversees employee relations to foster and maintain a positive and respectful workplace culture. * Provides OSHA recording and reporting. * Ensure legal compliance with labor laws and regulations across all jurisdictions. * Monitor HR metrics and analytics to guide data-driven decision-making. * Maintain prompt and regular attendance. * Ability to travel to all locations as needed. Job Qualifications Knowledge, Skills, and Ability:
Education or Formal Training:
Experience: * 5+ years of experience in multiple areas of HR. * 3+ years in a HR leadership role. * Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that align with business goals. * Strong understanding of labor laws and HR best practices. * Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills. Working Environment: This job operates in a fast paced, professional office environment and routinely required the use of standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. The position may require travel to conferences, meetings and branch locations on a regular or intermittent basis. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises. In the health center environment, there is potential for contact with blood-borne pathogens and communicable diseases, as well as potential for contact with dissatisfied or abusive individuals. There could be interaction with persons who are mentally ill, disabled, elderly and emotionally upset. Physical Activities: These are representative of those which must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role but can involve standing or sitting for extended periods of time, bending at the waist, and using hands and fingers to handle and file papers or operate assigned equipment. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus. Employee may also have to lift 10 to 25 lbs. unassisted Conditions of Employment: Annual TB, federally required drug screening, and Influenza vaccination or compliance with policy and procedure. Required possession of a valid state driver's license. Successful candidate must submit to and pass, post-offer drug screen and background check. In-person position. Can be based out of our Canon City or Salida office. Must be willing to travel to all Solvista locations. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm |
