Human Resources Intern

This position reports to the Director of Human Resources for BA and is responsible for supporting the HR department in recruiting, onboarding, training, and other administrative tasks as assigned.

Essential Functions

As a Human Resources Intern at BA, you will:
* Assist in the recruitment process by posting job openings, screening resumes, and scheduling interviews.
* Participate in onboarding activities for new hires, including preparing paperwork, conducting orientations, and coordinating training sessions.
* Assist in maintaining employee records and databases, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
* Support HR initiatives such as employee engagement programs and performance management.
* Help organize and facilitate employee events, meetings, and training sessions.
* Assist with HR administrative tasks such as drafting correspondence, updating HR policies and procedures, and managing HR-related documentation.
* Respond to employee inquiries and assist on HR-related matters.
* Collaborate with team members on special projects and initiatives as assigned.
* Stay updated on HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.

Minimum Requirements

* Pursuing a degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
* Eagerness to learn and develop skills in human resources management.
