A day in the life...

As a Human Resources Manager, you will provide full spectrum human resources support to our Iola, KS Manufacturing Facility. In this role, you will ensure operations and deliverables meet or exceed plant objectives and follow corporate and operational strategies.

What you will be doing...



  • Fostering a results-oriented, positive and inclusive culture through effective coaching and implementation of processes and tools
  • Developing programs focused on employee engagement and positions the company as an employer of choice in the community
  • Oversee and ensure adherence to regulatory and legal compliance throughout all employee relations and conflict resolution activities
  • Directing facility recruiting and staffing practices ensuring a positive candidate experience and timely fill rates
  • Facilitating the performance management process to ensure retention and employee development
  • Managing company succession planning, mentoring, and training within the plant
  • Developing and implementing support strategies, processes, and programs to enable continuous improvement aligned with business needs
  • Lead, coach and develop the Human Resources team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment
  • Analyzing data to identify root causes, provide insights to leadership, and implement programs or action plans to address root causes
  • Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines to ensure product quality and uphold food safety standards.
  • Learning to Identify and address potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities, while maintaining proactive communication with supervisors.
  • Documenting food safety and quality procedures, maintaining detailed records of monitoring, verification, and corrective actions.

Do you have what it takes?

(Minimum Qualifications)



  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive, professional level experience in human resources with a focus on staffing and employee relations
  • Previous work experience managing people and/or leading teams
  • Knowledge of applicable labor laws and regulations
  • Strong mediation and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address situations effectively
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.
  • Ability to be on-site 5 days per week
