Offering a rigorous JD program with the flexibility of online learning, St. Francis School of Law is accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California, preparing students for success in the legal field.

This Adjunct Faculty - Remedies course considers the types and nature of relief afforded by courts to litigants in civil litigation. It focuses on the theory and general principles governing the award of equitable remedies and damages, including restitution, temporary restraining orders, preliminary injunctions, and permanent injunctions, including the issuance and modification of such orders and contempt. It also covers equitable defenses (laches, unclean hands)

The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from a law school approved by the American Bar Association (ABA), accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California, or registered with the Committee of Bar Examiners of the State Bar of California. Admission to at least one U.S. jurisdiction is required, though an active license is not mandatory, provided there has been no disbarment or suspension resulting from formal disciplinary action. Also required, is substantial professional work experience in civil litigation. Preferred qualifications include prior experience teaching remedies at a law school and expertise in delivering instruction in an online format.

California Pay Transparency requires a pay range for all postings. The pay range for St. Francis School of Law adjunct faculty is $1,500 to $4,000 per course.
