To work #bettertogether, we operate with a hybrid working model. For those near a hub location, we gather in our office locations three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday). For the remaining days, we work from home.

The Director, Knowledge Management & Training is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive training and knowledge strategy to enhance the effectiveness of internal delivery teams and client-facing education programs. This role will drive the creation, organization, and optimization of training content, knowledge-sharing frameworks, and learning initiatives that support operational excellence. In addition, this leader will partner closely with Product teams to ensure that the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) incorporates delivery requirements, enabling a seamless transition from product design to implementation and support.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Knowledge Management & Training Strategy

  • Design and implement a structured knowledge management framework to ensure delivery teams have easy access to up-to-date processes, best practices, and product knowledge.

  • Develop and oversee comprehensive training programs for internal teams and clients, ensuring alignment with business goals and operational needs.

  • Establish governance for content curation, version control, and continuous improvement of training materials.

Content Creation & Learning Development

  • Oversee the development of scalable, engaging training materials in multiple formats, including e-learning modules, live workshops, job aids, and documentation.

  • Ensure content is designed to drive efficiency, knowledge retention, and consistency across delivery teams.

  • Implement learning technologies and platforms to support training initiatives, including knowledge bases, LMS, and AI-driven learning tools.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & PDLC Integration

  • Partner with Product Management, Implementation, Client Success, and Support teams to embed delivery requirements into the Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC).

  • Advocate for knowledge transfer best practices between Product, Delivery, and Support teams to reduce friction in go-to-market and implementation processes.

  • Ensure training programs align with new product launches, updates, and operational changes to improve adoption and usability.

Process Optimization & Continuous Improvement

  • Define and track KPIs to measure training effectiveness, knowledge retention, and operational impact.

  • Implement feedback loops and training assessments to continuously refine and improve content.

  • Establish a self-service learning culture by integrating AI, automation, and knowledge-sharing tools.

Required Qualifications:

  • 8-12 years of experience in knowledge management, training, or learning & development, preferably within a healthcare, SaaS, or technology-driven organization.

  • Proven experience in developing and scaling training programs for both internal teams and external clients.

  • Strong understanding of learning management systems (LMS), knowledge base platforms, and content development tools.

  • Ability to translate complex processes into clear, structured learning materials.

  • Experience integrating knowledge management into Product Development Lifecycles (PDLC) or similar product management processes.

  • Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in healthcare technology, SaaS, or professional services.

  • Familiarity with AI-driven learning, automation, and content management strategies.

  • Background in change management and driving adoption of knowledge-sharing best practices.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Business, Healthcare, Operations, or a related field).

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred (or willingness to obtain).

Role based on-site in Chicago, IL with three day in office requirement (Tues, Wed, Thurs) and work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Some travel will be required (< 25%) to other office locations or client sites.

Flexible to work between the hours of 8AM ET and 5PM ET with the possibility to flex up or down hours depending on business needs.
