Press Ganey is seeking an Events Manager to join our Strategic Event team. The Events Manager executes Press Ganey's participation in third-party industry conferences, meetings, conferences, and events. The Events Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining project plans, managing exhibit booth creation, events reporting and analysis, and communicating critical program updates across teams. Personal attributes required for this role include effective communication, creative problem-solving, attention to detail, high accountability, executive presence, and a customer-focused mentality. The Press Ganey Forsta strategic events team is responsible for driving brand awareness and loyalty, promoting products and solutions, and measuring event ROI.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Support planning and execution of all Press Ganey events, including third party industry conferences, corporate meetings, conferences, and client-facing events. This includes development of project tasks/timelines according to process, event marketing websites and communications, and internal briefing materials.
  • Execute on event plans and provide post-event debriefs
  • Utilize Salesforce to track event attendee activity and report on ROI according to company processes
  • Coordinate key logistics for in-person client facing events, including but not limited to staffing, food & beverage, room blocks, travel, signage, registration, and speaker management
  • Conduct regular event reporting and analysis specific to identify registration trends, assess attendee engagement, and monitor overall event performance
  • Manage external vendor partners to ensure projects are completed on time and within stated budgets
  • Other duties assigned

Qualifications:

  • Ability to successfully navigate a multi-matrix organization with efficiency and proficiency
  • 3+ years of event management experience
  • Excellent project, organizational, and time management skills
  • Ability to work on deliverables with tight timelines and to handle the need to pivot with professional poise
  • Creative, innovative, and quick thinker who understands marketing objectives and concepts.
  • Ability to execute multi-faceted strategic event plans with overlapping timelines that reflect innovative concepts and content
  • Exceptional oral and written communications skills.
  • Experience with online registration systems (CVENT, Aventri), project management platforms, (Asana, Monday.com, WorkFront), Salesforce, Microsoft OneDrive/ SharePoint preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or related field of study
  • Candidate will be willing to travel approximately 40%
  • The role will be based at our hub location in Chicago, IL. To work #bettertogether, we operate with a hybrid working model and we gather in our office locations three days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday). For the remaining days, we work from home. Adjustments to this schedule will occur when traveling.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 - $90,000. It is not typical for offers to be made at or near the top of the range. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to base salary and a competitive benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus or commission tied to achieved results.
