Principle duties and responsibilities

Validates and processes non-routine and escalated product and service purchase orders submitted by regional customers, including contract review, customer notification of issues, response to all customer and account manager inquiries, expediting, order tracking, ad-hoc reporting. Interacts with manufacturing, various service groups, marketing, finance, engineering, sales and shipping to resolve all issues, coordinate special requests and gain approvals. Uses knowledge of Juniper products and contracts to identify non-routine situations. Supports and coaches Order Management Reps to ensure compliance to Juniper's policies and customer contract requirements in the order management process.



  • Processes all internal and external orders in a timely manner, including escalations.
  • Reviews all incoming orders for compliance to company booking/revenue recognition requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to customer and contract requirements.
  • Verifies new customers, tax status, adds order notes and addresses, pricing and discounts as specified by company/department policies and procedures.
  • Acts as primary liaison between Sales and internal departments.
  • Manages customer needs throughout the order cycle ensuring customer satisfaction via process and order-related problem solving.
  • Manages and resolves backlog issues including order holds, complete orders, customer request dates and export compliance.
  • Ensures adherence to the corporate export compliance program.
  • Researches, requests, administers and tracks return material authorizations (RMAs) for revenue shipments.
  • Manages all customer inquiries and maintains customer files.
  • Project work as assigned.
  • Supports audits (internal, SOX, external, TL9000).



Job Specifications



  • 3 years of order management experience and the ability to perform at an independent level after training on Juniper systems is required. Knowledge of SAP a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines and handle fluctuating workloads required.
  • Flexibility and the ability to adapt to change and take on new types of work/projects required.
  • Ability to work weekends and holidays as business requires.



Minimum Salary: $77,440.56

Maximum Salary:$111,320.81

The pay range for this position is expected to be between $77,440.56 and $111,320.81/year; however, the base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position also includes medical benefits, 401(k) eligibility, vacation, sick time, and parental leave. Additional details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an "at-will position" and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Juniper's pay range data is provided in accordance with local state pay transparency regulations. Juniper may post different minimum wage ranges for permanent residency petitions pursuant to US Department of Labor requirements.
