Conducts and leads the most complex investigations identified by the Legal Department that may expose the company to the highest and most significant legal and financial risk. Understands complex business, financial, legal and regulatory processes and concepts; applies knowledge of those processes and concepts to formulate and execute investigatory plans/strategies involving document analysis and witness interviews to gather pertinent data; communicates findings. Sr. Compliance Specialist Supports legal and regulatory compliance by designing, implementing, administering, and monitoring compliance and policy-related programs, assessments, projects, internal customer training and related functions. Conducts highly complex compliance investigations and vendor assessments. Essential Functions
Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree required; 4 (four) additional years' of compliance, analytics, audit, investigative or additional applicable experience beyond the minimum years' experience, will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Compliance Advisor Essential Functions
Minimum Education Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Pre-Law, Criminal Justice or related field required. Minimum Experience Ten (10) years' experience required in compliance or related area; must have prior experience in being exclusively responsible for preventing, detecting and responding to potential violations of company policy, regulations, or statutes, and any other misconduct, or being responsible for leading development of compliance programs. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications. Verbal and written communication skills necessary to explain complex and/or confidential information. Presentation skills necessary to facilitate training and/or deliver informational sessions to groups and/or individuals. Time management and organizational skills necessary to manage multiple projects, appropriately prioritize workload, plan for resources to meet deadlines and goals, and respond to day-to-day functional needs. Ability to analyze review and make recommendations. Ability to mentor, coach, and act as a knowledge resource to other employees. Preferred Qualifications: Project management experience to provide updates to the FedEx restricted party screening tool, policies, and procedures. Experience in sanctions, export controls, and familiarity with work of regulatory agencies. Experience supporting investigations into export controls and sanctions compliance issues. Ability to track transactions requiring "blocking" under US sanctions regulations and prepare reports to the Treasury Department, Office of Foreign Assets Control Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement. Pay: U.S. Pay Range: $6,168.90/month - $12,533.14/month Additional Details: This position may be located anywhere within the US excluding AK, HI, and US territories.
