DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this Livestock Worker position, you will perform important work in ensuring that the rules, regulations, and policies of the Pennsylvania State Horse Racing Commission are followed. Responsibilities include monitoring assigned horses, collecting urine samples from horses, packaging them according to procedures and completing required records and documentation, and assisting in any other necessary farm activities. Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- This is a temporary, part-time position and functions in a stand-by role.
- The typical work schedule is 12:30 PM to 5:30 PM; Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
- You will work closely with vendors and work hours may change based on vendor availability.
- Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Experience in general farm work; and such training as may have been gained through completion of the eighth school grade; or
- An equivalent combination of experience and training.
Post Employment Requirement:
- This position will require possession of a Commission Employee License once hired.
Additional Requirements:
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
