As the Senior Human Resources Manager at a large Nestle factory, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive Human Resources leadership and support to all employees and site leadership. Your role will involve effective organizational design and the execution of HR strategies that align with Nestle's goals. You will lead a HR team and oversee various HR functions, including recruitment, employee development, employee relations, policy interpretation, compensation administration, and legal compliance. Additionally, you will manage the complete HR service/value chain for the facility and its workforce, with an emphasis on coaching, leading, and developing direct reports. This position is based out of Burlington, WI, and requires on-site support Monday-Friday. Key Responsibilities: 1. Execute HR Strategy (45%)
- Oversee the precise execution of all Human Resources initiatives, serving as a catalyst for change where necessary.
- Lead the HR service delivery to the business, shaping a culture that supports Nestle's goals and initiatives.
- Provide expert counsel and guidance to leadership on people management and development, conducting investigations as required.
- Strategize and coordinate the execution of the workforce plan for the site.
- Foster effective working relationships between managers and employees.
2. Employee/Labor Relations (25%)
- Assess Employee Relations practices to ensure compliance with corporate, federal, state, and local regulations while guiding management to maintain a positive employment environment.
- Act as a liaison between employee relations teams and unions where applicable, ensuring effective relationships among all parties.
3. Performance Management & Learning (15%)
- Provide coaching and development to site leaders and employees, including HR direct reports as necessary.
- Ensure a culture and working environment that is open, empowering, fair, and equitable through thorough analysis of HR scorecard data, survey results, and workforce management data.
- Utilize performance, talent, and organizational planning management systems to drive the achievement of company goals through objective setting, performance calibration, and talent development.
4. Compliance (5%)
- Support a holistic safety focus by driving people-related safety goals and initiatives.
5. Recruitment (10%)
- Develop HR strategies to attract, retain, and develop employees in alignment with the organization's short- and long-term business goals.
Qualifications:
- BS/BA Degree with a focus in HR, Business, Organizational Communication, or Industrial Psychology preferred.
- Master's Degree preferred in HR, Business, Organizational Communication, or Industrial Psychology field.
- PHR or SPHR through HRCI/SHRM certification strongly preferred.
- 10 years of Human Resources Business Partner Experience.
- 3-5 years of experience as both HR Manager and/or HR Generalist in a production facility or distribution center environment.
- Knowledge of Federal and State employment laws, Investigation Skills, HR technical knowledge in EEO, AA, FMLA, ADA, unemployment, and worker's compensation.
Critical Experiences:
- Experience in labor negotiations and union relations, including mediation, arbitration, and grievance processes.
- Proven ability to strategically influence culture through talent management and coaching, with a focus on risk mitigation, employee engagement, diversity and inclusion, and leadership development.
