The IT Administrator (IAM) (m/f/d) supports the reliable operations of Identity and Access Management including security, integrity and performance. Including review and improve existing systems, making use of new technologies and methods to seek continuous improvement.

Analyzing complex technology and operational risk to the enterprise and propose appropriate controls to comply with relevant laws, regulations an industry standard.

As a L2 Support Agent providing consulting services to the IT Organization and application owners with strong expertise.



Responsibilities

    Operate Identity and access management infrastructure to ensure security, integrity and performance.
  • Continuously improvement by review and improve existing systems and making use of new technologies and methods.
  • Troubleshooting: analyzing incidents within the system environment and applications; identifying and rectifying errors, if necessary, with the involvement of internal and external IT departments; assisting with problems with automated processes and workflows; ensuring data security in accordance with guidelines and legal requirements
  • Creation of all necessary documentation: Operating manuals; processes; maintaining all relevant data in the IT management systems (e.g. assets, contracts, licenses, tasks, projects, reports)
  • Support in the IT service desk in accordance with the IT service process: The employee processes fault reports (incidents) and change requests as part of IT support in accordance with the specified processes and quality parameters. The employee is obliged and, if necessary, authorized to call in further resources in good time as part of the solution finding process, considering the respective guidelines for engaging third parties.
  • IT procurement and contract management: Obtaining offers and conducting tenders; preparing requirements requests; reviewing invoices; preparing profitability comparisons and solution recommendations and decision papers; initiating and negotiating contracts in cooperation with the purchasing department; managing, monitoring and optimizing service and maintenance contracts; managing licenses.
  • Provide input for optimizations with regards to applications, cost relationships, outsourcing relationship and key distributor to annual budget and multiyear strategic planning process.
  • Consulting: As part of his or her specialist activities described above, the employee also acts as a customer consultant; By constantly analyzing business requirements, the employee knows the needs and always offers his or her consulting services proactively to the customer; The employee processes customer requirements (service requests) and advises his or her customers on the basis of the identified needs with regard to the technically and commercially optimal solution
  • Project work: Within the scope of their field of activity, employees regularly work on projects or project-type working groups. At times, the employee is deployed in the role of project manager, project member or consultant.
  • Travel (<10%) - Austria for trainings/conferences.
  • Perform other duties as required.


Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience or completed B.A. or B.S.
  • Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services
  • Microsoft Entra ID (Microsoft Azure Active Directory)
  • Domain Name Services
  • Microsoft 365
  • Microsoft Azure Fundamentals
  • Process Management
  • Optional: Further education and training, additional qualifications: Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365
  • Optional: ITIL v4 experience (preferably with training or certificate)
  • Language: English B2 (required), and German (preferred)

At Bruker, base salary is part of our total compensation. The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is between $64,800.00/yr. and 113,000/yr. and provides an opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role.The base salary for the role will depend on a several job-related factors, including, but not limited to education, training, experience, the geographic location of the successful candidate, skills, competencies, job-related knowledge and travel requirements for this position. Full-time employees may also be eligible for a performance-related incentive in addition to a full range of benefits including 401(k) with company match, an employee stock purchase plan, medical and dental plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, employee assistance program and paid time off including vacation, sick time and holidays, and more.
