This position reports to

Division Data Manager

Your role and responsibilities

You will steward Division Measurement & Analytics' Material Master Domain to enable automatic, uniform, and well-reported processing of our offerings. In this role, you will define the Global Master and quality metrics for your domain to ensure best-in-class data readiness. You will oversee the implementation and adoption of Material Master Data while ensuring that relevant policies and rules are applied.
You will work closely with Sales, Manufacturing, and Product Management functions in a global environment across all continents.
In this position, you will define, build, and manage Material Master Data Quality KPIs and applications, taking ownership of the Global Material Master list and its implementation. You will measure Global Master adoption, identify opportunities for improvement, and consult with teams to drive successful implementation and adoption. Additionally, you will define, build, and oversee Offering Tree Quality KPIs and applications, supporting the strategic evolution of the domain. Your responsibilities will also include documenting product and material domain rules and processes, as well as managing data cataloguing efforts.
You will work closely with key stakeholders across factories, sales units, and product management teams to ensure the success of the Product and Material domain, including the SAP Material Master and Offering Tree.

Qualifications for the role
  • To be successful in this role, you will bring proficient knowledge of data architecture in manufacturing processes and a deep understanding of data governance principles. Your ability to be a detail-oriented, resilient subject matter expert, combined with strong indirect leadership skills, will allow you to effectively coordinate work with international and cross-functional teams. Proficiency in IT Service Management, Application Life Cycle Management, and requirements engineering will help you translate business needs into actionable targets and technical requirements. You should also be familiar with Agile Methodology.
  • A bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in business, governance, or process management are essential. Expertise in ERP systems, data analytics solutions, and MS Office is required, while experience with Data Governance tools would be a plus. You must have a high proficiency in English, and experience working in an international, collaborative environment is important. The role will involve occasional internal workshop travel (approx. 5%).
