This position will report to our EnerSys Energy Systems business, which servesthe telecom, cable broadband, industrial, renewable, and data center markets. Our portfolio combines our stored energy expertise with power systems, enclosures, and renewable energy products to deliver world-class solutions for diverse applications such as 5G, broadband, Internet of Things (IoT), data center, and solar power. Job Purpose

This position is ONSITE and is responsible for various aspects of the monthly financial closing process, preparing journal entries, reporting of financial results, and analysis of manufacturing variances against standards. Requirements will include a thorough reconciliation and analysis of monthly financial data and accurate reporting of the Plant financial performance and statistics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Preparation of analysis by volume produced and its impact on absorption derived from the mix of manufactured products.
  • Preparation of weekly financial reports and KPI's, which allow measuring the financial performance related to use and consumption of materials, labor cost and its efficiency and overhead spending.
  • Coordinate and perform the annual physical inventories. Inspection and validation of cycle counting processes. Validate and track the inventory adjustments.
  • Account reconciliations for inventory, accruals and all related plant ledger accounts. Support Americas General, Cost and Accounts Payable as it relates to the Plant.
  • Preparation of the monthly forecasting and annual budgeting processes as it relates to the plant.
  • Play a vital role in the Plant's annual cost-roll to establish yearly standards in accordance with Americas Finance guidance.
  • Assist in monthly meetings with Americas Cost area. Periodically, validate the material structures (BOM) and standard times (routing) of products with highest demand.
  • Assist in validations of cost saving projects proposed by the different areas.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 4-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with monthly financial closings.
  • Experience with Budgeting and Forecasting. Experience with manufacturing variances analysis, cost roll-ups, and inventory control.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and ERP. Fluently in English, spoken and written.
  • Preferred Experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Lean Manufacturing and Waterfall analysis experience as related to Finance a plus.
  • SAP and BaaN system experience a plus.

  • This position will work in an office setting, expect minimal physical demands.
  • Must be able and willing to work overtime.
