Job Summary: The Senior Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient processes and optimal use of resources. This role involves managing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Manage Warehouse Operations: Oversee receiving, stowing, picking, packing, and shipping processes.
  • Inventory Management: Audit and report inventory, making recommendations for restocking.
  • Team Leadership: Manage and train warehouse staff, ensuring safe use of equipment.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement efficient layouts, workflows, and warehouse practices.
  • Safety Compliance: Monitor and enforce safety regulations and protocols.
  • Performance Monitoring: Set and achieve warehouse and team goals in collaboration with executive management.
  • System Utilization: Use warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to track and analyze performance.


Qualifications:



  • Education: Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience in warehouse operations.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Proficiency in WMS and ERP systems.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in strategic decision-making and budget management.
  • Ability to resolve escalated issues and coordinate with other departments.


Working Conditions:



  • Physical demands include standing, walking, and lifting items up to 50lbs.
  • Work environment may involve exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels.
