DESCRIPTION OF WORK

This Administrative Officer 1 position performs a wide variety of functions to support the smooth operation of the Bureau of Member & Participant Services and its regional counseling centers at seven locations throughout the state. This position develops, drafts, and maintains a variety of processes and procedures; serves as a technical lead for the agency document workflow system; trains staff on bureau systems and procedures; and serves as a subject matter expert for the Annuitant Beneficiary Nomination function.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week, Monday through Friday.
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with 60-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home part-time (hybrid telework schedule), up to 3 days per week, depending on operational needs. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you must work on-site at the work location specified in this job posting.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Two years of experience in varied office management or staff work; and bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Other Requirements:
