Overview

Supports Legal/Regulatory Department across several AmTrust offices. Has shared responsibility for assisting with a variety of regulatory and compliance, product development and implementation matters. Maintains a solid understanding of AmTrust's mission, vision, and values. Upholds the standards of the AmTrust organization.



Responsibilities

    Prepares product filings for various service contracts, vehicle protection products via SERFF and other filing channels.
  1. Interfaces with internal stakeholders (e.g., product development, underwriting) and state regulators to resolve objections to proposed insurance products
  2. Keeps current with market trends and demands
  3. Performs other functionally related duties as assigned


Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of administrative and/or insurance regulatory experience
  • Associates or Bachelor's Degree
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) products and Sharepoint
  • Strong organizational skills and detail oriented
  • Ability to interact with people at all levels of the corporate structure
  • Quick learner with a strong desire to take on additional responsibilities and stretch outside his/her comfort zone
  • Self-motivated team player with the proven ability to work independently and prioritize and handle numerous competing demands in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment, frequently under urgent deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Ability to handle confidential information sensitively and discreetly

Preferred:

  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance issues and state regulations
  • Knowledge of extended warranty business and related product filings
  • Familiarity with utilizing Salesforce
