HR Generalist | Middletown, Ohio
A Strategic, People-Focused Role with Real Impact

Are you an experienced HR professional who values connection, consistency, and continuous improvement? We're looking for an HR Generalist to join our team in Middletown, OH-someone who is approachable, detail-oriented, and committed to supporting a positive workplace culture.

In this role, you'll partner with HR leadership and team members to deliver high-quality service across a wide range of HR functions. From employee relations and compliance to recruiting support and training coordination, you'll be a trusted resource for both employees and leaders.

What You'll Do:
* Support recruiting efforts, primarily for our Middletown, OH facility
* Serve as a go-to contact for employees, offering guidance and support in a confidential and respectful manner
* Coordinate pre-employment processes including background checks, drug screens, and physicals
* Ensure compliance with labor regulations (DOL, EEOC, OFCCP, Wage and Hour), and maintain accurate employee records
* Help develop and deliver employee training programs, including new hire orientation
* Administer the job bidding process for hourly/non-exempt roles
* Support leave administration and monitor the light duty program in line with company policies
* Provide guidance to supervisors on performance and discipline in a consistent, compliant manner
* Facilitate the exit interview process and track key employee trends
* Actively engage with employees across shifts to promote communication and visibility of HR
* Contribute to HR process improvement and employee engagement initiatives
* Coordinate employee events and activities to support a positive team culture

What You'll Bring:
* 5+ years of progressive HR experience; manufacturing environment preferred
* Strong communication and relationship-building skills
* Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (ADP and Halogen experience a plus)
* High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
* HR certification (PHR or equivalent) preferred
* Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a strong asset
