Florida Crystals is a leading domestic sugar producer and North America's first fully integrated cane sugar company, guiding our sugar from farm to table. We are America's first and only producer of certified organic sugar, grown and harvested in the United States. Our renewable energy facility is the largest of its kind in North America and provides clean energy that powers our sugar operations, which helps us reduce our use of fossil fuels. Florida Crystals also sustainably farms rice, sweet corn and other vegetables in rotation with our sugarcane. Our rice mill is the only rice mill in Florida.





POSITION SCOPE

Reporting to the Senior Director, Talent Management and Development, the successful candidate will have responsibility for providing leadership to the Global Talent Acquisition function for ASR Group and Florida Crystals Corporation which is comprised of over 7,000 employees globally.

POSITION STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES AND KEY DELIVERABLES

As a member of the Corporate Human Resources Team, this position contributes a high level of energy, individual contribution and leadership to implement key initiatives to drive overall talent acquisition strategies for the firm.The individual must be strategic in the sense of being able to think broadly with vision and deliver results through formal and informal influence of others, but also tactical in the sense of being able work at an operational level to complete work his/ herself. Success in this role is based upon being able to demonstrate clear value to the business by executing against key objectives through partnership/ collaboration with key stakeholders in HR and the business.

DETAILED ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Candidate Selection



  • Use appropriate tools and methods to participate in the selection of employees.
  • Manage end-to-end talent acquisition activity from talent attraction and sourcing through to hand-off for on-boarding and induction.
  • Fill prioritized vacancies within timeframe targets using efficient and effective processes.
  • Influence organizational thinking with best practice approaches to talent acquisition.



Talent Attraction and Recruiting Marketing



  • Ensure a clear employment brand strategy in market, using leading-edge tools, including social media, to bring ASR Group & FCC to a unified, globally attractive, high quality employment brand.
  • Use progressive and proactive techniques to identify and source talent.



Measurement and Reporting



  • Design and deliver recruiting metrics to include monthly scorecards focused on speed, cost, and quality.



Leadership and Strategy



  • Provide operational and strategic leadership to the Talent Acquisition function globally which includes candidate recruitment and selection, relocation, and international mobility.
  • Champions the company vision, mission and employer brand both internally and externally.
  • Develops talent acquisition and placement strategies, processes and procedures to identify, attract, and hire talent. Ensures talent acquisition strategies are in line with the business segment and overall corporate strategies.
  • Lead, guide and develop employees on the Talent Acquisition team. Forecasts and provides input to the Talent Acquisition budget.
  • Organizes, prioritizes and deploys day-to-day talent acquisition activities and measures progress against goals.
  • Recommend and initiate leading/best practices.
  • Develops and updates policies on recruitment and supports global sites on corporate recruitment processes and policy. Directs and supports corporate and field recruiting by defining process.
  • Assist in the management of third-party vendor solutions including mobility, social media, executive recruitment firm usage, recruitment advertising, background and drug screen vendors, etc.
  • Ensure legal compliance with all regulatory requirements



Operational Excellence



  • Partner with HRIS team on recruitment technology, process and tools to achieve operational excellence.
  • Drive recruiting technology through optimizing current systems and enhancing longer term alignment with the HRIS strategy.



Project Management/ Continuous Improvement



  • Drive talent acquisition process excellence, including the ability to identify, implement and maintain continuous improvement efforts.



WORK EXPERIENCE



  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Talent Acquisition, with 2+ years of people leadership experience
  • Extensive experience with full lifecycle recruiting process, including sourcing and recruitment at all levels (Operator through to Executive)
  • Exposure to a wide-range of recruitment and selection practices and methods
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), with SuccessFactors experience preferred



EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS



  • Bachelor's degree in HR or related discipline from accredited university
  • Advanced degree desired, but not required

  • Supervision of two Corporate Recruiters
