Job Title: Repossession Specialist (WCC-FT Onsite)
Job Description The Repossession Specialist is responsible for coordinating the repossession and timely disposal of property serving as collateral on loans and leases. This role involves managing delinquency on outstanding leases that are two or more months past due and collecting the outstanding balance on lease receivable items. Responsibilities * Work accounts at every stage of delinquency through charge-off. * Coordinate the repossession process. * Coordinate the sale of repossessed property. * Ensure compliance and proper documentation for all processes and expenses related to repossessions. Essential Skills * Experience in collections, sales, retail, administrative tasks, and customer service. * Proficiency in insurance and banking-related activities. * Competency in administrative roles. * Computer literacy and ability to work with multiple systems. * Effective skills in applying innovative approaches to solve technical design issues. * Proficiency in systems analysis, workflow, or procedural analysis. * Effective word processing and spreadsheet software skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Bachelor's or Associate degree with retail or sales experience preferred. * High School Diploma with collections or call center experience. * Preferred financial background or banking experience. * Strong communication skills and ability to engage with people effectively. Work Environment This position is fully onsite at the WCC facility, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8 am to 4:30 pm. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Winchester, Virginia. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $17.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
