Job Title: Medical Assistant Location: Thousand Oaks, CA 91360 Job Type: Full-Time Job Description: As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for: * Assisting healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. * Recording patient medical histories and vital signs. * Preparing examination rooms and ensuring they are clean and well-stocked. * Administering medications and injections as directed by healthcare providers. * Performing basic laboratory tests and collecting specimens. * Providing patient education and instructions for follow-up care. * Managing patient records and ensuring confidentiality. * Scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. * Performing administrative tasks such as answering phones and handling patient inquiries. Qualifications: * High school diploma or equivalent. * Completion of a Medical Assistant program- diploma or certification * Previous experience in a primary care or clinical setting is a plus. * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. * Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
