Strategic Operations Analyst - Oncology

The U.S. Oncology Network's Strategic Operations team works with over 2,000 providers across the country to help optimize the delivery of community oncology clinics.

As an analyst working with the Strategic Operations team, you will be responsible for supporting ad-hoc analysis of ongoing engagements, refinement and development of network-wide performance reporting, and general enhancement of the team's analytic capabilities with a focus on highlighting areas of strength and weakness.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality analytics by performing a wide array of analyses focused on key oncology clinic financial and operational performance drivers.
  • Create/enhance and automate reporting, providing more transparent and actionable intelligence to the business.
  • Work cross-functionally to collect and aggregate necessary data in support of practice and network level projects.
  • Perform ad-hoc analyses on various key projects as needed.
  • Prepare materials in support of operational and business reviews.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Minimum Requirement

Degree or equivalent and typically requires 4+ years of relevant experience.

Education

Bachelor's degree (business administration, finance, accounting, statistics, computer science or similar preferred)

Critical Skills

  • At least 2 years experience as a business analyst in a healthcare setting
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and software (ex. Excel/Power BI/Tableau/Essbase)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of oncology clinic operations and healthcare regulations is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of SQL and database tools (Databricks) a plus.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. Our Base Pay Range for this position

$89,300 - $148,800
