About the Role We're looking for a strategic and hands-on Marketing Manager to attract, engage, and convert high-quality leads in the higher education space. You'll lead the charge on building an inbound engine that speaks to the unique needs of colleges and universities - helping to build content and campaigns that build trust, spark interest, and drive action. You will work in lock-step with the Campaign Manager, developing strategy across SEO, content, lead nurturing, and digital conversion paths, with a deep understanding of the personas and decision-making processes that share purchasing in higher ed. What You'll Do
Support Campaign Manager by executing campaign plans Develop nurture campaigns for inbound leads and collaborate with Marketing Automation Manager to execute Own and optimize the inbound marketing funnel to drive qualified leads from higher education institutions Manage paid media trafficking activities Build SEO and content strategies that resonate with higher ed administrators, procurement, IT personnel, and other decision-makers and influencers Plan and help to create lead magnets, landing pages, and conversion paths tailored to higher ed buyer journeys Collaborate with the Campaign Manager, Content Team, Product Marketing, and Sales to align messaging with higher ed audience Analyze campaign and content performance, using data to optimize reach and relevance. Own and report out on marketing attribution metrics. Stay informed on industry trends in higher education to position our brand as a trusted resource
What You Bring
3-5+ years of experience in inbound or digital marketing, preferably in B2B SaaS or EdTech Deep understanding of the higher education market and the unique challenges institutions face Proven track record of driving pipeline and qualified leads through content and organic channels Experience managing paid media placements across programmatic digital networks, social media, and trade media Understanding of digital advertising formats and best practices Experience in ABM strategies and execution Strong understanding of SEO, keyword research, and content performance metrics Data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills (Google Analytics, Salesforce reports, etc.) Excellent project management and cross-functional collaboration skills Strong writing/editing skills and a good eye for compelling content

Direct experience marketing to colleges, universities, or educational consortia a plus Familiarity with higher ed buying cycles and personas Experience with conversion rate optimization (CRO)
