Job Summary

The Director, Supply Chain Systems & Analytics, is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing and optimizing the entire supply chain, focusing on the systems and technologies that support it.This includes managing and implementing technology solutions, data analytics, and the overall architecture of the supply chain. The role will lead the strategic planning, integration, and consolidation of supply chain systems, technology, and information for Dorman Products, which will enable growth, support the achievement of critical business objectives, and drive sustainable improvements in inventory and service level performance.

Primary Duties

  • Developing and executing supply chain strategies that align with the company's overall business objectives.This involves identifying and implementing new technologies and processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs
  • Utilizing data analytics to identify trends, optimize operations, and make data-driven decisions.Reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and identify areas for improvement
  • Leading the implementation of new technologies and solutions to improve supply chain performance.This may include cloud-based solutions, AI, or other advanced technologies.
  • Working with cross-functional teams, including procurement, logistics, manufacturing, and sales, to ensure a seamless flow of information and materials.
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving initiatives to optimize the supply chain end-to-end.
  • Leading and developing a team of supply chain professionals, providing mentorship and coaching.
  • Create a technology and systems roadmap to drive towards best-in-class systems and data to enable the supply chain

Qualifications

  • Strong leadership and management skills to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to develop and implement strategic plans that align with business objectives
  • Expertise in supply chain systems, ERP, WMS, and other relevant technologies.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to identify and resolve complex problems.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and innovation.
  • A deep understanding of supply chain principles and best practices.
  • Proven track record of driving major improvements in supply chain processes and systems that yield significant, sustainable improvements in customer delivery performance and inventory turnover.

Education / Experience

  • BS/BA in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.
  • MBA or advanced degree is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years supply chain experience with demonstrated responsibility progression.
  • Experience in a high SKU count business serving large US retailers.
  • APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) is preferred.
