Job Summary:

The Data Operations Specialistis on the Engineering team in the Information Technology department andwillbe primarily responsible forexecutingand monitoringmission critical processes and workflows that enable the data and analyticalprocesses at ArchWellHealth. This includesdatabase (SQL) processes, report creation and distribution, business process automationas well as several manual processes in need of automation guidance.

All colleagues on the Engineeringteam areexposed to and have the opportunity tolearn and grow inany technology in our Azure stack,depending on your personal objectives and goals.

Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Identify and catalog all existing and upcoming process needs
  • Usingthe available tools (SQL, PowerBI, various other logging systems), verify that all expected processes have been executedaccording to their schedules and quality expectations
  • For failed processes, act as level 1 support for troubleshooting and communication
  • In areas where automation does not yet exist, perform needed tasks for process success. This could include:


    • RunningPowerBI report and delivering it to the necessary audience
    • Executing SQL queries or stored procedure
    • Pulling/pushing files over SFTP


  • Identifying areas where automationneeds exist and workingwith the Engineering team to develop requirements and built out the automation
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of documentation relevant to the position

Required Skills/Abilities:


  • Basic understanding of SQL and databases
  • Able to get around in Microsoft products such as basic Office as well asPower tools such as BI and Automate
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to learn and grow in a new and fast-paced environment
  • Unafraid to work and communicate with colleagues across all departments andlevels

Education and Experience:


  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or related field strongly preferred
  • Hands on experience with SQL in work or school setting
