Job Summary

Leonardo DRS Land Systems is seeking a full time Senior Programs Analyst for our Goleta, CA facility. This position will be responsible for supporting the Program Manager and leading sub-projects for a major DoD Cyber and Software Maintenance/Development contract. The position will require schedule, cost, risk and opportunities management for the contract. This position will entail action item tracking, meeting minute development, and presentation creation. This position may require the individual to run small sub-projects with an integrated project team (IPT) requiring them to monitor schedule, cost and performance on their own. This position will require 25%-30% travel, with the majority of travel being to and from St. Louis, MO. Individual will be working in a non-classified and classified environment and must be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop schedules on their own via Microsoft Project and utilize Microsoft Office tools such as Excel to analyze budgetary information
  • Lead the generation of Supplier Statements of Work based on analysis of contract requirements within an Integrated Product Team
  • Lead major coordination efforts for complex delivery schedules
  • Consult with management and customers on modifications for optimum schedules
  • Coordinate and monitor budgets across the program to ensure control account managers are executing to budget
  • Participate in vendor/supplier quality and test evaluations on site
  • Provide expertise on proposals to identify most appropriate methods to meet project requirements outlined in the Statement of Work
  • Assist and Lead Proposal efforts for new and follow on business
  • Provide mentorship and coaching to lower level employees
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Management orrelatedor an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 8+ years of directly related experience
  • Ability to work with a remote team
  • Experience in Microsoft project
  • Experience in Microsoft Office Suite- Excel and Power point exceptional skills
  • Ability to interpret cost data and track budget to actuals
  • Ability to lead the team in absence of Program Manger and drive sub-projects within the task order
  • Ability to travel 25-30% of the time
  • Cybersecurity and software development program management exposure and experience desired
  • Risk and opportunities management experience
  • Exposure and work in DOD contracts is desired

U.S. Citizenship required. This position requires an active DOD security clearance or the ability to obtain such clearance within a reasonable time after commencement of employment.

The expected pay scale for this position is $104,274.00/year - $161,884.00/year. Should the level, location, or scope of the position change during the hiring process, the pay scale may be modified accordingly. When extending an offer of employment, Leonardo DRS considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position; any Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, the candidate's relevant work experience, education/training, certifications, and key skills; internal equity; and market and business considerations.
