We have an important role to play in securing the region's clean and reliable energy future and we seek folks from a variety of disciplines to join us! In this role you will analyze, study and coordinate transmission outage requests considering respective Resource outage plans to achieve optimum outage schedules that can be reliably implemented, while working to minimize overall congestion costs. Additionally, this position supports the Control Room Operators and Market Operations Analysts in the Day Ahead Market process by providing detailed analysis and technical support seven days a week, on a rotating 10-hour a day shift schedule. This requires frequent and detailed communications with Local Control Centers, Transmission Owners and Generator Owners. What we offer you:

How you will make an impact:
- Receive and process transmission outage requests in accordance with the requirements of NEPOOL Operating Procedure #3 & #5 as well as applicable System Operations Procedures.
- Perform technical thermal analysis of transmission and Resources outage requests resulting from various outage scenarios, using custom software.
- Support and assist with special studies and determine reliable operating limits for internal and external interfaces to ISO New England.
- Provide analysis and support for stakeholder committees/groups as assigned.
What we are looking for:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university (other engineering disciplines or credible industry experience will be considered). An understanding or experience in Utility/Market Economics is desirable.
- Experience in an Operations or Engineering support function.
- Knowledge of System Operating Procedures and Processes, Market Rules, Transmission Operations, demonstrated ability to perform and analyze power flow studies.
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the function and interrelationship of ISO Operations software tools such as Energy Management System and outage scheduling databases.
- Excellent oral, written, communication and interpersonal skills.

- Associate Transmission Outage Coordinator level 2-4 years stated experience
- Transmission Outage Coordinator level 4-7 years stated experience

- Lead Transmission Outage Coordinator level 11-15 years of experience
Desired not required:
- Reliability Coordinator NERC certification
