We are seeking Sr. Corporate Acocunting Manager to join our Austin, TX location. This role reports to the Corporate Controller and manages the Corporate Accounting Team. This position will afford you the opportunity of being a business partner to Operations, Treasury, Mergers and Acquisitions, Human Resources, Payroll, Tax, Revenue, and Real Estate.

The hired candidate's success will depend on his/hers ability to build operational excellence and demonstrate strong leadership skills. Take the team to the next level is a key deliverable so the candidate must have strong planning and organization skills. This candidate needs to be a self-starter, hands-on and detail oriented manager who is naturally curious, drives tasks to completion and has a desire to make a real contribution to the future success of our company



Your Impact

    Direct and lead the overall strategic vision and performance of the Corporate Accounting Team
  • Maintaining a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve accounting operations and manage risks
  • Manage assigned aspects of external and internal audit activities
  • Management and oversight of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process
  • Manage the monthly reporting and analysis of certain key balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Drive process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of the internal controls
  • Review and enhance analysis and analytical processes and controls
  • Maintain and update internal SOX documentation and controls, reconciliations, monitor operational/industry/regulatory changes and develop new processes and policies to accommodate accordingly
  • Lead the performance management, development and education of assigned team members.
  • Support financial due diligence and financial integration of acquisitions
  • Manage and review of staff prepared reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis
  • Provide support on ad-hoc projects


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Active CPA or CPA equivalent
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in positions of increasing responsibility and scope aligning to essential functions or 4 years of public accounting experience
  • Experience with publicly traded company
  • Accomplished management experience with a sizable team consisting of employees at a variety of levels
  • Experience with SOX, Flowcharts, Process Improvements and US GAAP
  • Experience interfacing with external and internal auditors
  • Advanced-level experience using Excel, including the ability to work with big data, complex tables and look-ups
