Senior Supervisor, Corporate Accounting

We are seeking a Senior Supervisor, Corporate Accounting to join our Austin, TX location. As part of the Corporate Accounting Team this role will afford you the opportunity of being a business partner to Operations, Treasury, Mergers and Acquisitions, Human Resources, Payroll, Tax, and Real Estate.

Assist in maintaining a strong accounting & operational control environment to safeguard assets, improve accounting operations and manage risks.
• Manage aspects of external and internal audit activities.
• Assist with the management and oversight of the monthly, quarterly and yearly close process.
• Prepare monthly reporting and analysis of certain key balance sheet and income statement accounts.
• Drive process improvements and automation efforts to streamline accounting operations and improve the quality of the internal controls.
• Review and enhance analysis and analytical processes and controls.
• Supervise a small team of accounting professionals and partner with management to create positive morale, fostering engagement and make recommendations regarding professional development of staff.
• Support financial due diligence and financial integration of acquisitions.
• Manage and review of staff prepared reconciliations, journal entries, and account analysis.
• Provide support on ad-hoc projects

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
• CPA required
• 6+ years of progressive accounting experience preferably with a large, public company
• 2+ years of supervisory experience

• Experience and working knowledge of enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, Oracle Cloud preferred
• Strong understanding of US GAAP
• Intermediate-level experience using Excel, including the ability to work with complex tables and X-lookups
