We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Primary Technical Control Facility (TCF) Lead to manage and oversee operations within a secure, mission-critical cryptographic and telecommunications environment. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise in managing TCF systems and Tier 2 support, along with proven leadership in coordinating technical staff and ensuring compliance with DoD standards, including DISAC 310-175-9. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the daily operations and technical direction of the Tech Control Facility, ensuring continuous availability and optimal performance of cryptographic and network transmission systems.
- Supervise and provide guidance to TCF personnel, ensuring efficient execution of tasks and adherence to established protocols.
- Maintain and troubleshoot TCF infrastructure, including switches, encryption devices, network operations consoles, and circuits.
- Ensure operational status of all systems and rapid restoration of services in the event of disruptions.
- Oversee Tier 2 Helpdesk support functions, including incident and service request management.
- Apply IT Service Management (ITSM) and industry best practices to all operational activities.
- Coordinate change management and configuration updates in alignment with mission and security requirements.
- Maintain familiarity and compliance with DISAC 310-175-9 and related DoD regulations and documentation standards.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for high-level management communications related to TCF status and issues.
- Monitor and report on performance, trends, and capacity planning to support future growth and risk mitigation.
Required Skills, Qualifications and Experience:
- Citizenship and Clearance:
- US Citizenship is required.
- Must have and maintain a current DoD TS/SCI Clearance.
- Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field.
- Experience:
- Minimum 5 years' experience with managing and operating cryptographic facilities.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated knowledge in maintaining the operational status of a Tech Control facility.
- Knowledge of Tech Control equipment such as Switches, Encryption devices, Network Operation Consoles, and Circuits.
- Demonstrated successful working knowledge and supervision of tech control employees in efforts similar in size and scope.
- Demonstrated ability for oral and written communication with the highest levels of management
- Must have knowledge in operating and maintaining Tier 2 Tech Control Helpdesk functions and DISAC 310-175-9.
- Ability to provide technical directions and supervision, in coordinating, restoring, and reporting functions necessary for effective maintenance of transmission paths and facilities.
- Knowledge of industry accepted standards and best practices related to Information Management Operations and with ITSM best practices.
- Knowledge in handling and managing incidents and service requests for activities such as changes, problems, configurations, and requisitions for equipment and services.
