The Johns Hopkins Howard County Surgery Center is located in the Berman Pavilion adjacent to the Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center's main entrance. It is a multispecialty center that specializes in ophthalmology, orthopedics, and pain management. As an Prep/PACU nurse, you will prep and recover patients under going Ophthalmology, Othopedic, and Pain Mnagement proceedures.

Shift: 32 hours/week (4 days/week), 8 Hour Days

Qualifications:




  • At least one year recent OR RN experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Nursing from Accredited Nursing Program required, or Associates Degree in Nursing with equivalent years of experience
  • Active Maryland or Compact RN license is required
  • BLS CPR certification through AHA, Red Cross, or military training, ACLS required within 6 months of hire
  • Acute Care RN expereince required, Prep and Recovery experience preferred.

Salary Range: Minimum $38.49/hour - Maximum $59.66/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
