Digital Mobile Innovations LLC

Architect, Data Science & Engineering

Multiple Full-time professional position at business office located in McLean, VA with relocations to unanticipated project sites within the US expected. No travel is required for this position.

Duties:

    Data Strategy: Overlooking the overall data integration program and proposing optimization initiatives for efficiency and quality.
  • Solution Architecture: Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to understand integration requirements and lead the creation of the technical solution architecture.
  • Provide leadership into planning and design of development feature, deployment features, and governing processes to manage ecosystem.
  • Design and implement scalable ETL processes in the data warehouse platform to support the rapidly growing and dynamic business demand for data, including automation of ETL auditing.
  • Review of functional and technical designs to identify areas of risk and/or missing requirements.
  • Communicate system architecture, design solutions to technical and business teams, and win approval for process improvement recommendations.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, enterprise technology, data analysis and AI/ML teams.
  • Oversight of the adoption of enterprise Data Governance, Data Validation, Data Cleansing, Quality Assurance programs where they exist, or creation of these as appropriate.
  • Guidance and mentorship data engineers.
  • Design robust AI/ML architectures that align with business goals. Oversee end-to-end implementation of AI/ML projects. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and effective in addressing business challenges.
  • Utilize advanced machine learning techniques to solve critical business problems. Ensure models are designed for scalability and robustness. Deploy models into production, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.
  • Design and develop efficient data pipelines that support AI/ML models. Ensure data workflows are optimized for performance and reliability. Facilitate the integration of fata from various sources to enhance model accuracy.
  • Lead the development of PoC and production-level generative AI models. Collaborate with teams to integrate these models into existing systems. Ensure the models are scalable, reliable, and meet business objectives.
  • Conduct thorough testing to validate the performance of AI/ML models. Implement quality assurance processes to ensure reliability and scalability. Continuously monitor and optimize models to maintain high performance.
  • Establish and enforce guidelines for AI/ML model governance. Utilize version control systems to manage model iterations. Implement monitoring solutions to track model performance and ensure compliance.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations on AI/ML solutions and findings. Tailor presentations to suit the audience, ensuring clarity and engagement. Use data visualization and storytelling techniques to convey complex information effectively.
  • Act as a technical mentor for members of the Data & Analytics team, providing input and feedback to others. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team. Lead by example, promoting best practices in AI/ML development.
  • Review business requirements documentation, technical design documentation, data flow documentation, and participate in peer review cycles with technical & non-technical counterparts.
  • Establishes and maintains documentation of programs, user guides, policies, data flow documentation, and procedures, particularly in support of the acceptance of solution s as credible to non-technical users of information.

Collaborates with Stakeholders, Analysts, Developers, Engineers, BI Developers, and Data Scientists in the development and integration of data, insights, and solutions within the purview of the Data & Analytics division



Qualifications

Education Requirements: Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science and three years of experience in the job offered or a related Database Architect position; OR Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Data Science and five years of experience in the job offered or a related Database Architect position.

Special Requirements: Three years of experience utilizing the following database architect tools: Python, AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, LangChain, Scikit-learn, FastAPI), Cloud Platforms (AWS & Azure), Databases (SQL, VectorDB), Project Management Tools (JIRA, Azure DevOps), Mobile Technologies (Android, Xamarin).
