Tool Manager

SUMMARY:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* To manage the tool program for job site use
* Correctly set up logistics of tools and orders for job sites from tool departments
* Work closely with logistics team for order and shipments
* Daily and weekly cycle counts to ensure inventory needs are met
* Provide timely responses to job site supervisors for tool and material ordering
* Enter all orders correctly and help solve problems for low inventory or out of stock occurrences
* Report on stolen or damaged tools as needed
* Understand basic tool and ladder knowledge
* Manage team members and assign tasks daily of a department of 2-3
* Provide honest timelines for w2hen supervisors should expect deliveries
* Load and unload delivery trucks with outbound and inbound tools
* Enter inventory counts into the computer system and prepare for lack of stock or broken tools

REQUIRED EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
* High school diploma or GED is preferred.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
* Strong organizational traits. Must possess ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly while focusing on details.
* Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability/desire to build relationships throughout the organization.
* Proactive, strategic, and intuitive thinker. Possesses a high degree of emotional intelligence and maturity.
* Strong problem-solving abilities. Exhibits sound judgement and ability to prioritize.
* Proven ability to process confidential information with discretion.
* Demonstrated ability to achieve critical performance goals within tight deadlines.
* Possess strong business acumen.
